Install & open the app

  1. Install SchemaPilot from the Webflow Apps Marketplace (or use the install link when the listing is live).
  2. Webflow OAuth opens immediately - approve scopes: sites, pages, custom code, and CMS (read/write as shown).
  3. After approval you land on install-complete with next-step instructions.
  4. Open Webflow Designer for your site β†’ left panel β†’ Apps β†’ launch SchemaPilot.
  5. The app dashboard opens inside the Designer panel. This marketing site is not the app - the Hybrid App runs embedded in Designer only.

Try demo: After install, you can explore sample pages in the app before connecting a live workspace. Use Connect Webflow when you are ready to save to a real site.

Connect your Webflow workspace

  1. In the app panel, click Connect Webflow if not already connected after Marketplace install. A Webflow OAuth popup may open - allow popups for the Designer if prompted.
  2. Hybrid session: The Designer Extension uses Webflow ID tokens with our Data Client so the panel can authenticate securely after you have installed/authorized once (no Webflow password entered into our forms).
  3. After approval, the app shows connected status and loads pages. Colored dots (πŸ”΄ / 🟑 / 🟒) next to static pages show SEO health - cached status may appear immediately; a background check updates dots after connect.
  4. Click Refresh Pages to reload the list from Webflow. SEO status keeps checking without locking the whole panel.
  5. To switch workspace or account: Disconnect, then Connect Webflow again. Custom code cleanup from the previous session may continue in the background.

Approve scopes β†’ popup closes β†’ app panel shows Connected to Webflow.

License keys & plans

SchemaPilot includes a free tier and optional Pro licenses. Pricing is always disclosed on this site - not hidden behind the app.

  1. Open the License Dashboard and create an account (or log in).
  2. A free license key is issued automatically for trial limits (typically 5 pages + a monthly AI generate allowance).
  3. For full-site unlock, open Plans, choose Monthly or Yearly, and pay with Razorpay (UPI / cards / netbanking).
  4. Copy your Pro key from the Dashboard β†’ paste into SchemaPilot β†’ Activate.
  5. After the first successful activate with a site, the key may bind to that one Webflow site.

Reading and saving SEO fields does not always consume AI quota. Generate actions do. Details: Terms - Fees Β· Privacy.

Static pages - SEO & JSON-LD

  1. Select a static page from the list in the app.
  2. Optional: edit or generate Meta title and Meta description (see AI generation).
  3. Choose schema types (Organization, WebSite, FAQ, etc.) β†’ click Generate for each type β†’ review the JSON-LD preview.
  4. Click Save Selected Page. JSON-LD is attached as a registered inline script via the Webflow Custom Code API (Page settings β†’ Custom code β†’ Apps).
  5. Publish your site in Webflow, then verify on the live URL (see Verify on live site).

CMS collections

  1. Select a CMS collection template page in the app β†’ click Load CMS Config.
  2. If prompted, click Create Meta Fields to add schema and SEO fields to the collection.
  3. One-time setup: In Webflow Designer, open the Collection page template β†’ add an Embed before </body> β†’ paste the embed snippet from the app (outputs {{wf:Schema JSON-LD Plain|Dynamo}} or your field slug).
  4. Back in the app: pick a CMS item β†’ Load Item Meta β†’ generate schema β†’ Save CMS Item.
  5. Publish the site β†’ verify JSON-LD on a live CMS item URL.

Large JSON-LD on static pages may be split into multiple inline scripts (Webflow 2,000-character limit per script). Details: Support - JSON-LD size limits.

AI generation & your data

AI runs only when you click Generate (SEO title/description or schema types). The app shows a persistent notice in the SEO and schema panels and a one-time confirmation modal per browser session.

  • Page title, description, URL, and schema context may be sent to OpenAI to produce suggestions.
  • Nothing is sent on page load or without your click.
  • FAQ Q&A is taken from published page content when possible - not invented by AI.
  • We do not sell your data. Full details: Privacy Policy - OpenAI.

Verify on your live site

  • Open the published page URL β†’ View page source β†’ search for application/ld+json.
  • In DevTools β†’ Network tab β†’ reload the page β†’ confirm there are no requests to api-schemapilot.appsrow.com on visitor loads (JSON-LD is static after save).
  • Optional: run Google Rich Results Test on the published URL.

Disconnect, uninstall & cleanup

  1. Before uninstalling: Open the app in Designer β†’ click Disconnect. You are signed out immediately; registered scripts and legacy head blocks are removed in the background while OAuth is still valid.
  2. Remove the app from your Webflow workspace in Apps & integrations settings.
  3. If you added a CMS Collection template Embed manually, edit the template in Designer to remove it.

Full cleanup steps: Support - Uninstall & custom code.
